Review and refocus

I don’t know about you but I love this time of year. I always get that back to school feeling, excited about the possibilities ahead in the run up Christmas.

This week, I have had an unexpected week to myself, I had been called for jury service but it was cancelled last minute giving me five whole days with nothing booked in! Like most of us, my diary is usually heaving with appointments and things to do, so a whole week of freedom made me feel quite delirious!

I have caught up with a few people for coffee (well peppermint tea actually, but somehow we don’t say that), gone for lots of long walks with Delta, watched a lot of Suits on Netflix (I’m a little bit, ok quite a lot, in love with Harvey Specter) spent time clearing out clutter and even done a bit of yoga. It's been a wonderful week, alsoI feel rested and refreshed and ready to get back to helping my clients look and feel fabulous every day!

The other thing I have had time for this week, is to reflect on a great summer and plan for an amazing autumn. I’ve been very lucky this year to have friends living abroad so I have had trips to Portugal and Cyprus aswell as a few weekends up in Leeds with Emma, I saw Eddie Izzard at Hay festival, Robbie Williams in London, and even put on a surprise mini festival in our back garden for Milly’s 19th birthday. Milfest was amazing (in fact I have been listening to the playlist again this morning and dancing around – thanks for putting it together Emma!)

Aswell as all the great home stuff, I have opened up a brand new networking group in Worcester, done presentations is some great locations from Cherry Reds in Birmingham to  John Lewis and the Hyatt Regency and hit double star stylist with House of Colour. I have also worked with some wonderful clients and heard some incredible stories from them, we have done colour, style, make up, shopping, wardrobe edits to name but a few. I am very lucky that I don’t need a work life balance as they blend together so well 🙂

Looking forward, I am planning a busy autumn with the emphasis of self care, carrying on with yoga and personal training and adding in a boot camp (one of my BIG goals is to lose 50lb by the time I’m 50 next year– I’ll keep you posted) I have scheduled facials with the fabulous Fay Hildred using Natural Elements products to keep my skin in great condition. There are some fab events coming up where you can see, feel and try on the French range of Captain Tortue aswell as all the usual classes and get togethers.

Bring it on!

Stay fabulous and see you next time
